Pensacola, Florida is one of the most happening places in the US. No matter what you are looking for you can find it in Pensacola. The best beaches, the most fun, and the hottest people are all in Pensacola. If you’re new to Pensacola you might be wondering where is “the” place to see and be seen while in town. Below are the top three places for nightlife while in Pensacola, if you’re looking for a good time, you can find it at any of the three.
Seville Quarter is the most happening place in Pensacola. During the summer there are tons of free concerts and every weekend there seems to be something going on. You can find anything you want at the Seville Quarter. Seven different venues give you the option of bar hopping without leaving the building. Rosie O’Grady’s is the not so typical Irish pub; with the Flaming Hurricanes and famous dueling pianos Rosie O’Grady’s is anything but ordinary. Looking for something a little more professional then you should check out Lili Marlene’s. Lili Marlene’s is the World War I Aviators pub and tends to cater to the more professional crowd. Phineas Phoggs is another one of the many bars located in Seville Quarter. Not only is it one of the hottest dance clubs in Pensacola, the focal point of the room is slightly unusual too. You cannot help but notice the giant brass sailing balloon made by craftsmen at Bob Snow’s Orlando creation, Church Street Station. If you’re looking for a little more atmosphere then you should check out Apple Annie’s. Located within a breathtaking courtyard and serving some of the most delicious frozen drinks ever made, its no wonder Apple Annie’s is a favorite in Seville Quarter. There is always the ever popular End O The Alley, that is if your looking for a taste of the Islands, Jamaican Steel Bands and reggae make you feel like your in the Islands. Seville Quarter has a little something for everyone, which makes it a great place to go if you’re not sure exactly what you’re looking for.
Another hotspot in Pensacola is the ever-popular McGuire’s Irish Pub. The building was converted from an old firehouse into the bar in 1927 and that turn of the century New York Irish Saloon style still reigns supreme. With over 20,000 square feet and 400 seats, it is defiantly one of the most popular gathering places in town. The greatest part about McGuire’s is that not only are the drinks and atmosphere great but the food is incredible. Over 20 different burgers, seafood so fresh it was swimming that morning and the honor of being steak house of the year in 1998 makes McGuire’s an Irish Pub with a whole lot more.
I know what your saying, how can you come to Pensacola and not find one of the top three bars right on the beach and the answer is Bamboo Willie’s. If your looking for that laid back wander around the beach while listening to killer music and drinking some strangely exotic drinks type of atmosphere then Bamboo Willie’s is for you. Wander in your bathing suit and walk out with a Banana Banshee or a Tropical Itch. Whatever you’re looking for if it’s at the beach its Bamboo Willie’s.
