Nineteen bands with long Pensacola roots will take the stage — two stages, actually — Monday for the Pensacola Musicians Memorial, a tribute to performers of the past.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. at Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government Street.
Organizer Lisa Black promises continuous music as performers take over two rooms at the downtown Pensacola entertainment complex — Phineas Phogg’s and Apple Annie’s.
Steve Gunter Black, who founded the memorial, urges people to “join us as we celebrate our musician friends, who have gone before us: their lives and the music. It will be a very special evening.”
