Join us for a special evening as the Marine Corps League J.R. Spears Detachment #066 proudly presents the 14th Annual Heroes Among Us Speaker Series, honoring the Camp Bastion ~ Leathernecks. The June 25th event will feature as our Guest of Honor, Major Brian Jordan USMC. Major Jordan, distinguished career and leadership make him an inspiring figure for veterans, active-duty service members, and civilians alike.
The Heroes Among Us series shines a spotlight on extraordinary military veterans from every branch and generation of service. Events are typically held at Veterans Memorial Park in Downtown Pensacola on the last Thursday of each month at 6 PM. However, for this special Marine Corps celebration, we are proud to host the evening at Seville Quarter.
Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are welcomed to support theHeroes Among Us Fund, providing direct assistance to veterans in need, from medical support to emergency housing assistance.
